Acro/Tumbling

This class is a mix of tumbling and acro techniques, geared for those interested in integrating these techniques into their performing arts training. Students will be instructed appropriate to their skill level, ranging from the very beginner (handstands, rolls, cartwheels etc.) to the more advanced level (handsprings, flips, twists, etc.). Classes employ a wide variety of training practices to give students strength, flexibility and agility that will help them achieve better body awareness to maximize their dance and performance potential. When taught correctly, acro can be a safe and rewarding specialized skill that no performing arts professional should be without. Classes are taught on a foam padded surface and are progressed to a harder surface as the learner excels.

Please wear comfortable, flexible clothing as well as comfortable padded footwear.
