Biography & Class Description
Lynn Barr is a former soloist with the New York City Opera and Paul Sanasardo Dance Company. Ms. Barr is currently the Director of the State University of New York, New
Paltz, as well as summer dance programs in Italy and Prague. Ms. Barr has taught and choreographed extensively in Germany, Poland, Italy, Prague and most recently, Belgrade, Serbia. As artistic director of her own company, she continues to choreograph both in New York and in Europe.
Modern
Based on Graham, Sanasardo and Horton
modern dance techniques, along with
ballet
principles, this class emphasizes
the development of performance skills.
Ms. Barr’s class is structured to train
dancers for the stage, helping them all,
regardless of level, to develop their own
personal style. In this class, you will

emotional and intellectual.
