Contemporary
This class aims to take dancers with strong technique and training and inspire them to infuse the movement given with their own personal style. The warm-up focuses thoroughly on the entire body and is ballet based to strengthen further the dancer's technique. Using what is learned and explored during the warm-up the dancer will then work through short across the floor excersises and contemporary combonations. During class the dancers will also learn to connect emotionally with their movement and the music. This class aims to inspire and encourages dancers to step outside of their comfort zone, find their own voices as artisits and technitions and of course have fun! |
