Jazz
| This class will focus on combing dance technique with style and musicality. The dancer can expect a variety of styles from week to week such as classic jazz, contemporary jazz, lyrical, theater, etc. Whether you are an intermediate dancer continuing to build your technique or the advanced dancer who is looking to maintain, this class will meet the wants and needs of many dancers. Also a focus of the class will be audition techniques such as learning choreography quickly and how to pay attention to detail and apply it to your dancing. Each class will begin with a concise, easy-to-follow warm-up followed by either across-the-floor or center exercises to develop strong technique and to become a “two-sided” dancer. The last half of the class will consist of a center dance combination. |
