to rhythm hoofing, Jason will cover every

Theatre Dance
In theater, a song or dance occurs when
the emotional state of a character(s) be
come so heightened that they can no
longer express themselves in words. It’s
not just about the choreography; it’s about
bringing the character to life. Jason’s
choreography is based in the reality of his
characters; who they are, where they are
from and what their experiences are. His
class is about telling a story and sharing
and experience by creating a complete
performance of his choreography. The
warm-up is designed to increase strength
as well as body and spatial awareness.
Jason uses basic technique and applies it
to the various styles and movements. His
exercises are easily adaptable to various
skill levels. Combinations are built from a
pedestrian movement to strong technical
work.
