Biography & Class Description
Connor Weigand is from Philadelphia and grew up dancing at The Rock School of The Pennsylvania Ballet and also trained at Joffrey Ballet. After moving to New York, Connor joined the first national tour of The Music Man as Tommy Djilas. His industrial list includes, Reebox, NCAA, NHL, MLB, and he also served as assistant choreographer for Hasbro Games working with Nick Cannon and Nick and Aaron Carter. Connor also worked with Scapino Ballet Rotterdam. In Europe, Connor danced for some of the world’s leading contemporary choreographers, including Mats Ek, Nacho Duato and Jim Vincent. Recent credits include, Radio City Christmas Spectacular and master classes in Europe and North America.
Leaps & Turns
This class consists of a thorough warm-up followed by across the floor movements in a leaps and turns rotation. During this class students will experience increased flexibility, heightened jumps, increased endurance and core strength building. The class is designed to build awareness of the body and improve proper physical alignment. |
