OPEN TEACHER FORUM

New Dance Group is proud to provide the arts community with a diverse and engaging schedule of classes in dance, fitness and theatre arts. Our teachers are active professionals with experience and a strong desire to teach. Most importantly, they are dedicated to supporting individual artistic growth.

CLASSES OFFERED

Acro/Tumbling, Acting/Improvisation, African Dance, Ballet & Pointe, Belly Dance, Body Conditioning, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Latin Ballroom, Leaps & Turns, Modern, Pilates, Salsa, Samba, Tap, Theatre Dance, Voice, Yoga and Zumba

CLASS LEVELS

Open – Classes are comprised of a mixed level of students

Basic – No previous experience required
Beginner – Requires a basic knowledge of dance. Basic students may feel comfortable in these classes
Intermediate – Technical proficiency required
Advanced – Professional level with technical proficiency required

Classes are subject to change and/or cancellation. Please call 212.904.1990 to inquire about a specific teacher or class.

Open Teacher Forum classes are open to teens and adults ages 13 and older.  NDG does suggest, however, that younger teens contact the studio prior to taking classes in order to ensure that a specific class/teacher is a good match for them.

CLASS PRICES

Cards for Individuals
1 Class Card: $14 (valid only that day)

10 Class Card*: $130 (A savings of $10!)

20 Class Card*: $240 (A savings of $40!)

Cards for Two or More People*

Couples Class Card: $345 for 30 classes to be used by two people

(That's only $11.50 per class!)

Family Class Card:  $550 for 50 classes to be used by 3 or more people

(Maximum of 2 adults; Children must be between the ages of 12 - 18)

Group Class Card:  $1500 for 150 classes

(10 or more people; A HUGE savings -- $10 per class)

Barre Fee: $10

Prices subject to change

All students must register and receive a free student identification card before attending classes.  Please arrive 20 minutes prior to the start of your class if you need a new ID card.

*These cards are valid for 60 days from date of purchase and can be used for any combination of classes in the Open Teacher Forum.  To use class cards after the expiration date students must pay an additional $1 per class for a 10 Class Card, $2 per class for a 20 Class Card, etc.  See the Front Desk for details.
