The Exchange is a program of New Dance Group which offers emerging Choreographers, Directors, Writers and Musicians the opportunity to present original work and receive valuable feedback from the NDG community.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Selected applicants will be contacted about which Exchange date their work has been chosen for.

The artists who are chosen to participate in The Exchange are granted 10 hours of free rehearsal space at New Dance Group. After The Exchange presentations have been made, there will be a discussion forum during which artists and audience members may ask and answer questions, as well as brainstorm ways in which to further develop the presented pieces. Audience members may also offer their feedback anonymously on forms provided by NDG. All feedback is intended to support the artists’ creative journey and help them further develop their pieces.

To apply:  Download the application or pick one up at the NDG Front Desk. Completed applications and the $20 non-refundable application fee can be mailed or delivered to the studio.  Checks should be made out to New Dance Group.  Credit cards will be accepted in person.
