New Dance Group has two Perfomance
Spaces, one on each of its 2 floors. Studios 1, 2 and 3 as well as 7, 8, and 9 have moveable walls which can be combined for performance usage.
Both performance spaces are 97 X 27 for a total of 2,619 square feet. Both spaces also have 12 foot ceilings. The performance area, with the seating & all the curtains in place is approx.25'wide X 50' deep. To view the floor plan click here.
The technical specifications for each floor are drawn with this assumption of combining the 3 studios per floor to form one large performance area.
Black drapes are available to cover windows and mirrors. Raked bleacher seating for 66 people is available. Chairs are available for additional seating. The maximum seating capacity is 150 people. We recommend that you try not to exceed 130 people. The configuration of the performance space is flexible, and the seating & performance areas can be set up several different ways.
A curtain is hung to create a backstage area. From the backstage there is access to the dressing rooms and performer restrooms. Refer to the ground plans at the top of this page.
